Where do you prefer to shop walmart or Target?

I hate walmart there are alsways way to many people and a whole lot of check stands that are empty while I'm waiting in a half hour line.

I feel like I am slumming when I go to Wal-Mart, maybe it is just the one around here.

Both stores are good, but for different reasons.

For clothing and shoes, I would much rather go to Target. Generally, the quality is higher, and I like their designs better. I have always been very pleased with the housewares that I have purchased at Target. I even registered at Target when I got married.

For groceries, I prefer Wal-Mart. The prices are cheaper, in most cases. I will not do all my grocery shopping at Target.

Having said that, I do like going to the Target Superstore occasionally, because they carry a lot of specialty items that Wal-Mart does not carry. On those items, I expect to pay a little more.

I'm a Super Target fan, myself.

I have found Walmart to be way too busy, the lines are too long and everything they have is drop shipped to them so they have no choice in the merchandise that they receive. If I am looking for something that they don't have they always tell me,"well come back in the morning because we are getting a truck tonight and it may be on it."
I don't want to shop in a store that can't tell me if something I am looking for is going to arrive.

Target on the other hand can tell me when something has been ordered and when it will most likely arrive.

i love that place. and they carry my favorite designer too..

and i so agree with you with so many people and tons of check outs and alot of them are empty....i went to ask about a copier(my dad needed something copied) and they told me they didn't have one and at the same time this lady asked for more checkouts to be opend.

i like the U-Scans.....but this walmart doesn't have them...

i applied to work at the one where i live and they won't hire me.
i kept calling them about it and they kept telling me "if we like your application we'll give you a call"

but what it seems to me is they won't hire me cuz i don't havea disability.

the closest Target to me is like an hour or so away...but i don't shop at the local walmart anymore....i'll spend alittle more at the smaller stores than spend one dime in it.

Target's employees are so much nicer than the ones at Walmart.

and i can see why after the super center opened in my town all the regulars stayed at the store i work at.

I use to love Walmart untill they finally opened a Target here in the mall. I orgasmed at the beautiful red bullseye when I saw it for the first time. It's cleaner, the employees are nicer, the stock is kept up-to-date and the styles are more trendy. Yay Target! :D

i used to hate target because i thought they were like kmart. now, i have found out, target is nice. i like to go there, but i also like walmart. target's more for girls, walmart for guys. walmart is open 24/7. that's unbeatable! but target, on the other hand, is like a huge boutique, which is their plus. i'm glad, they both exist. it's just so sad, walmart closes in germany, where i com from.

Preferably: Neither. But between the two, Target. They have WAY better clothes and jewelry. Plus, Wal Mart makes me think "Hee-haw town"

Target. I don't shop at Wal-Mart anymore. I have a friend who used to work there and what people say about they way they treat their employees is true.
