Like it because we ARE the best country in the world. We have so many opportunities to succeed IF we are motivated and work hard. (Everyone has equal opportunity but not equal ability....if you take away corrupt corp's etc.)
Dislike it because there are so many uneducated people who claim to know what they are talking about after watching and being influenced by the liberal media.
Also, because people have become experts in working the system for handouts (because it is allowed and sometimes encouraged) and live off of taxpayer money.

I love America.

224 year history of peaceful power turnover.

The fact that I can publicly criticize a politician and not have to worry about being kidnapped in the middle of the night and murdered.

I can choose what church if any I attend.

I don't live in fear of the police or the military.

I can own a gun and defend my home if needed.

My children can go to school.

I am free to move around the country with no restrictions.

I can tell a religious zealot where to stuff it without being stoned to death.

I can listen to any kind of music I want.

I guess the greatest thing I like about this country is the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Basically unchanged for almost a quarter of a century, longer than any other nation on the planet.

I like America for the wonderful things it has done in the past, and for its Constitution. I dislike it because of the evil things it is doing now, and the fact that the Constitution has no basis in reality any more, its just a quaint old curiosity with absolutely no legal effect any more. And sadly, the people are fine with that. "You don't miss your water til your well runs dry"--it is only a matter of time until the masses realize what a horrible mistake they made in seating a president and congress that flushes the Constitution down the toilet.

I love America, free to do as we want, meaning, speak out, travel, start a business etc.

Hate all the people that come here from other countries and brag about how much better things were there.

If life was so good there, then why are you even here? Freedom? Earn lots of money and support your family overseas?

I love America. I love the ideals of the Declaration of Independence where it states that all men are endowed with the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I cherish the Constitutional notions of checks and balances. I worship the freedoms laid out in the Bill of Rights, especially "freedom of speech" (obviously)

I love my country, even if I find all to many of my fellow countrymen and our leadership to be beyond hope...

I love being American but some people are just completely rude and disrespectful and the black people here are disgraceful and make me ashamed to be considered black, Also Bush, But then other times i am proud to be an American normally when we are bombing like living sh!t out of somebody But in the end I am Proud to be an American... also because of the french jokes and jokes we have on other races

I like America because I can burn our own flag and I can't go to jail for it. I dislike this country because its people have a lot of growing up to do.

i love America ,and yes sometimes i dont agree or understand some of the things that are going on but id never betray my country.
