cl2.5 is clock latency, or the amount of clock cycles it takes to access the RAM, on average. PC2700 RAM is a type of double-data rate synchro-dynamic random access memory (DDR-SDRAM for short) that has a clock cycle of 333MHz. For the most part, this RAM was designed to be used with processors that have a front side bus (FSB) of 533MHz, however they also work with ones that have 800MHz buses (hyper-threading)

It looks like 2.5 is your processor and PC2700 is the type ram you are using. There are a few style cards and type used usually depends on the motherboard. This does not say how much ram you have. If you have XP, right mouse button click on my computer and go to properties - and it should tell you about your computer.
