It depends what political party you are with. Even still, though, i'd say probably not.
I am a libertarian and feel that prostitution should be legal, although I still discourage prostitution.
If you want the general population to vote for you, then you can't offend them like that. Therefore, my answer is NO.
To make it legal, though, you'd have to write up a bill, get signatures, and get it on the ballod in your state to legalize prostitution. Find the local libertarian group. They will probably support you.

Prostitution should be legal. We (Men) basically pay for it anyways no matter how you look at it. If your serious then do it on the down low, and create a prostitution ring.

Democrats are already engaged. In fact, Bill Clinton was the countries first prostitute to hold office. Albeit male, he prostituted him self and the country on so many occasions, we are still paying for it today.

Depends on your political party and platform and if you could pimp the women you need.
Yes it could work, in Nevada, and it seems it would be a niche issue, unless your platform and charisma are out of this world.

Depends on where you are running. In certain parts of Nevada, it's legal. In most other areas it's not. While participating in illegal activity would certainly make you very similar to most politicians, I doubt it would help get you elected anywhere. Then again, drunk-driving, blow-snorting, AWOL George got elected...so who know...

If you could make it legal, I doubt too many other fundraising techniques would generate as much money.

i dont see why not. the clintons were able to prostitute out nuclear secrets for campaign money, so i dont see why you couldnt be a pimp and make money for a political party. as far as making it legal, just base your party out of nevada, its legal in carson county i believe.

I agree...if it was for Dem's it would be a great fundraiser. You will find a way to make it legal.

That's an interesting idea. Perhaps you should check with Bill Clinton. He's probably given this very idea serious thought and may have useful suggestions for you.

you know its an amazingly smart idea and it would work perfectly mostly for guys but u know you could talk to a superior (make it a none married man) and aks him for an exeption just for the fundraiser...
