a few weeks ago the lights went out so i went downstairs to watch a movie on our laptop. everyone else was sleeping. then i saw someone staring at me through the window. i went and woke up my dad. i didnt tell him what i saw cause i didnt want him to call the police or something. then they called the power company and the lights went on. the next day my neighborhood called everyone and said there had been a robbery down the street from me. should i have called the police?
i know i put it under the wrong category but i find more people read celebrity stuff.

yessss. u shud have! if u had called the police then they cud have caught the guy who did the robbery. that is rele scary.

Yes you should have told your father what you saw and at least report it to the police. Did you see this persons face or any distinguishing features? Any information you could have provided could have helped prevent the robbery. And, why wouldn't you have wanted your dad to call the police? You didn't do anything wrong. In the future, please alert someone to things you see that is out of the ordinary. Possibly next time you can save a life.

My house has been broken into before and let me tell you it is the worst feeling in the world to know that someone has went through all of your personal possessions...You really should have called to police or told your dad....there is nothing you can do now but if it ever happens again which i hope it doesnt you will know what to do.~

omg how did u survive???!! i would have screamed and cried my head off. he could of killed you. ya, you should of called the cops because u could of stopped the robbery, and i dont think your dad would have minded if you woke him up because of that. but dont feel guilty, when ur panicked, you dont know what to do
