how can i connect two play station 2s to play gran turismo 4 ??

like how should i connect both the ps2s .. i know that you need two ps2s.. then two televisions .. then i connected them by using an ethernet cable .. one end was in my ps2 and the other end in my friend's ps2 .. then i tried to play on lan .. but it didn't connect to the other ps2.. are there any settings that i have to do .. or do i need anything like the ethernet hub .. and please tell me how to connect ?? help to make it work would be reall appreciated!

The best thing to do is check with Sony.com themselves. They should be able to give you a walk through of the entire procedure. Good luck!!!!
