Depends on where in Vermont from where in Florida. But, as a rule of thumb, Key West is about 350 miles further than, say, Jacksonville.

I live in Rhode Island and it is about 1500 miles. Of course this depends on what part of Vermont and what part of Florida you are referring to (if you want and exact mileage)
