I take Yasmin. By the 2nd week. I get these little red bumps around my chin and my upper lip area. Its not full blown acne, just a small irritations. Kind of reminds me of the reaction you get when you kiss a man with stubble. You can clearly see it when I dont wear makeup. I usually end a pack on a Sunday and by Tuesday my face is perfect.

One of the side effects for Yasmin is skin spots and a rash. It could be a rash.
Allergic drug rash: Most allergic drug rashes start within two weeks of taking a new medication, especially if the person has taken the drug before. It is very unlikely for medicine that has been prescribed for months or years to cause an allergic reaction. Because there is usually no specific test to prove whether a rash is allergic, doctors may recommend stopping a suspected drug to see what happens. If the rash doesn't disappear within five days of not taking the medication, allergy is unlikely.

Though you might want to talk to your doctor or pharmacist, to be on the safe side.

I have been on Yasmin for 7 years & haven't had any adverse reactions to it. It could be your hormones fluctuating. I'm not sure but if you think it's the pill maybe you should switch or try the new low dose Yasmin.

The second week of your pack is when you're probably ovulating. My guess is its just your hormones out of whack. You could talk to yoru doctor about it and see if there are lower dose pills you could look into.

Call your doctor and ask if it's a common side effect. A pharmacist would probably know, too.
