Saul Hudson (born July 23, 1965), better known to the world as Slash, is the lead guitarist for the hard rock supergroup Velvet Revolver and former lead guitarist for the rock band Guns N' Roses. He is noted for his long curly black hair, his signature oversized top hat, his love for Jack Daniel's, and, usually, a cigarette dangling from his mouth.
