Transvestites are welcome at gay bars. Many gay men like to talk to them. Usually they have great senses of humor! While many gay men are attracted, I would say most gay men are not attracted to transvestites.

No, gay bars like TVs because they add to the scene. The TV shows are very fun, actually. Here in Houston, the gay district bar panders to TVs in every location.

Gay bars are usually recognized for accepting the unaccepted. I know I love to see Drag Queens and TG individuals cause of their wit and quips I just don't think that most homosexuals are looking so much for TGs in terms of dating but more camaraderie.

All of the gay bars I have ever been to are accepting of everyone - they are about tolerance and having a good time regardless of your preferences or gender.

I've never seen anything to inform me of the contrary. Most gay bars/clubs are in essence considered pansexual.

Cross dressers, female impersonators and drag queens are welcome at a lot of gay bars. What isn't welcome is the word "transvestite". Most feel that is outdated and not very nice.

St Louis bars are very accepting - I know I for one would not have a problem with it at all.
