the word crap can be used as:
verb: i crapped myself, or the dog took a crap.
noun: eww! i stepped in crap!
adjective: that looks like crap!

i am sure there are more ways crap can be used as part of speech, but those are the only ways i know....

Acutally, the sentence "The dog took a crap" and "That looks like crap!" still use the word in a noun form (the verb is TOOK or LOOKS) where crap is the quantifier. You can change to an adverb....crappily done, or adjective crappy paint job.

the adjective one was wrong. it is still a noun, for example you look like a fish. fish is still a noun.
