I'm from Wyoming so we have little NASCAR exposure, but... I have been to Daytona and Talladega, sister tracks, and Talladega wins hands down. First, just driving to the track and seeing all the campers, the campfire smoke, and then that wonderful American flag is what NASCAR is all about. Daytona was cool but it's in the city by a mall, not back off the road. In Talladega on the way into the race track families were cooking breakfast, dad's were having a catch with their kids, and "Sweet Home Alabama" was blaring over the PA system. At Daytona there were some tailgaters, but the urban scene just wasn't NASCAR. Post race ('dega) it took us 4 hours to get back to our hotel, but NO ONE was rude on the road. Lots of nods and cars letting other cars in line. It was wonderful. Daytona experience was a 9.5 but Dega rates a 10. Bummer was that the #24 won both races ; (

Talladega,it has the closest racing, people can say what they want to about plate racing but it's very exciting. You have huge packs of cars close enough to each other to fit under a blanket.Anybody could be the winner, heck you can be running tenth or fifteenth when you take the white flag and move to first by the time you get back to the checkered flag.Huge wrecks, airborne wrecks, end over end flips (beats a double back flip any day )and barrel rolls.Talladega always has more lead changes than any other track. After Talladega I like Daytona and Bristol next.

My favorite race to watch is the fall race at Richmond, but that might be because of how the race to the chase makes it exciting racing. The restrictor plate races are fun to watch, but it's really not great racing because the cars are so even and with the big one looming in the background the winner probably won't be the best driver in the best car.

I think Bristol Motor Speedway is the best track out there. You cant beat 43 drivers battling on a half-mile track. Don't get me wrong, theirs alot of great tracks. I just think its hard to top Bristol. Its like watching Nascar race on your local tracks. I live near Autocity Speedway, its only a half-mile track. I find it hard to imagine 43 cars on that track in a single race.

NASCRAP has only two racetracks, the rest are wastes of concrete and asphalt: Sears Point and Watkins' Glen.

I live in PA, but I don't like Pocono all that much. Tennessee has the best track I think. I love Bristol.
