Hezbollah is wrong. What all the ignorant Israeli-bashing Americans don't understand is that Israel has been fighting terrorist groups like Hezbollah (and sometimes entire Arab nations) ever since they became a nation in 1949. The Arabs in the region would love nothing more than to see every Jew in Palestine and the Jordan River valley eliminated. The Israelis have a right to survive, and if they decide to fight fire with fire then more power to them.

I don't see how Hezbollah is a terrorist organization.... they attacked the Israeli MILITARY because they don't want Israel to take over their land again...Zionism. They haven't attacked any other country, just Israel. Israel's plan is too kill off the Lebanese too. They have advanced weaponry that can be directed to a desired point and they still hit civilians. Hezbollah's weapons are much more dated and the only way for them to know what it hit is to watch the news. So neither of them are terrorists. They are both fighting to defend their beliefs. Both are justified. You don't have to take a side. Most of the world disagrees with Hezbollah being a terrorist organization so why the US? Is it because they are Muslim?

Both are wrong and right.
Don't think I'm for Hezbollah, but they are bred to believe Israel is a mortal enemy.
But for the most part, I am for Israel, even though they took action without the consent of the UN. You see, had they done so, the UN would still be debating their next move because no one can ever agree, and Hezbollah would still be firing rockets, possibly even at Tel Aviv right now.
I think what will happen is Israel is going to move up to central Lebannon, and then the UN will force them to pull out to the original border and allow the Lebanesse government to handle security in the area.

I suppose we all are wrong. Yes I know very well that Hezbollah is a terrorist organization but their ideology is to lift the people of lebonan out of misery.
The meaning of hezbollah in arabic is the army of god. Therfore they are nothing but are stong believers of extremism, to say in simple. They believe that if they are hurt then even they have the capacity to hurt and they will surely do that!
Many of the followers join such organizations because the host country or the host government has done such an act in which the concernend individual has lost his parents, lived in grat poverty, seen killings of his people... etc. Then this organizations preach their ideology such individuals get attracted towards the ideology of extremism and thus IN OUR SENSE A MILITANT. The principle is just the same as a revolutionary fighting for the freedm of his country. So if we go as per our ideology of accepting the evils of society just as to protect our lives then they are wrong, But if we consider their point of view then they are right. But the only problem is that they forget their main principles and become too violent in the course of time. And please let me remind you that it is a TERRORIST ORGANIZATION as per the USA. You give people too little credit; there is often more than two sides to any story. Both are wrong. The killing of innocents can never be condoned; there just is no excuse. I believe both sides need to stop fighting and disarm the borders. An international force can be put in place to protect Israel from incursions, and keep Israel from trying to expand its borders.

The killing of innocents, for one's (or one's country's) own personal gain is terrorism. Whether it is by a government or an individual.

I stand with neither. Both organizations are based on specific religious affiliations.

The fact that a country or organization is based on myth and fairy tales simply makes it a magnet for ingorance. Hence the perpetual war between Arabs and Jews. People die, people suffer, nobody is winning anything, yet they continue their fight.

I for one say lets make a parking lot of the whole area and be done with it.

The analogy is this: If a terrorist organization hid behinf Canada's border, kidnapped 2 US soldiers, killed one, and then began lobbing missiles at Buffalo, we would send 100,000 troops into Canada, if the Canadians were unable to do anything about it.
