I've been to several beaches in the MD, Delaware, NC and NJ but haven't seen a beach with calm waters. All the beaches have big waves and for surfing. Are there any beaches with calmer waters in the East Coast? Or do I have to go all the way to Caribbean to see calm beaches? Thanks

Go to Great Lakes beaches. Clean, clear, salt-free water, with little waves.
