Drink eight 8oz glasses of water every day and try to get some aerobic exercise every day (about 30-45 minutes or so) and you should lose that little bit of weight in that amount of time, unless your metabolism is really slow, then you may want to look into some things to speed up your metabolism a little to help you lose the weight.
I lost about 5-10 pounds in about 1.5-2 weeks doing just that. It works.
DO NOT. . .I repeat. . .DO NOT starve yourself. Not only is that majorly damaging to your body, but it never really works. You will lose some weight, but you will feel absolutely awful and have little to no energy. Continue eatting, just watch what you eat a little more and watch portion sizes and you will be fine. No matter what people say, you will NEVER lose weight and keep it off with a starvation diet of any kind.

five pounds in three weeks? I don't really know that but I know how to lose 10lbs in three days. It is a chemical breakdown in your diet. Doctors actually give it out to their patients when their patients must lose weight fast and the other people use it too, such as those in the military who are 10lbs away from being approved etc. If your interested, e-mail me at xmichunx@yahoo.com and I'll send it to you.

Trying keeping yourself busy. If you have nothing to do, the most likely thing you will do is head for the fridge. Personally, I started working at full time (in a restaurant, ironically) since my classes ended, and I have dropped 10 pounds in about two weeks. Also, I starting eating the microwavable dinner that are supported by Weight-Watchers, will are really good. Experiment with different things.

My specialty. Eat organic. Krogers has some organic food. Walk for thirty minutes a day. Run for fifteen minutes after you wake-up. Do some cardio and like some Tae-Bo. Do some of this every two days for the three weeks. Mix up your workout everyday. Do some yoga to relieve stress. Eat mainly fruit and eat that Activia from the Grocery store to straighten out your digestive system.

you could lose 5 pounds in 1 week if you eat right and exercise. i've done it by following weight watchers and going to the gym for an hour 3 times a week

Walk at least 30 minutes a day at 4.5 on the treadmill (or at a fast pased walk). If you do reps on the machines, use a lower weight with 15-20 reps - this will tone rather than add bulk to your muscles. Drink 8-10 glasses of water, maintain a balanced diet of smaller portions (rich in protien, green vegetables, etc), take a multivitamin - all of these daily.

Herbal Life. Search it on the internet. I lost three pounds in 1 week. You drink one of their shakes for breakfast and lunch. Then you have one of their protein bars for mid-morning snack and a protein drink for a mid-afternoon drink. Then you can have a normal dinner. You have to drink a lot of water and take a small walk every day. Hope I could help.

Everyones metabolism is different, but I can loose five pounds in a few days just by watching what I eat. You should be able to loose five pounds in three weeks just by walking more, and eating healthy. Don't starve yourself, food is important!

An easy way to lose those few pounds are running, jump rope and spit a lot. One of the guys in my football team used to do this to meet the scale before some games.
