www.askdrsears.com has a chart for weight, age and dosage. very helpful. Click on "medicine cabinet" then "acetemophin". I am pretty sure it is about 0.8 ml. of infant CONCENTRATED drops. If you have childrens it will be about 2.5 ml. As always talk to your doc though. They will give you the dosage over the phone. This website though will help you know when those changes happen.

Consult your baby's doctor to be sure. However, last summer we had to take our daughter to ER because she developed a high fever and began to hallucinate. They lowered her temp by using a combination of ibuprofen and acetaminophen and a cooling blanket. The ER doctor sent us home with a print out called "Professional Dosage Schedule". According to this form, a child who is 4-11 months old, weighs 12-17 pounds can have 0.8 ml of Children's Tylenol drops or 1/2 tsp of Elixir not to exceed 5 doses in 24 hours. Follow your doctor's orders for sure and be sure to read the label of the Tylenol since they come in more than one type of liquid form. Some doctor's also will recommend ibuprofen (Children's Motrin) instead depending on their personal preference and what the child is being treated for.

I have a 18 pound 7 month old and she takes 1.2ml of infant tylenol only...
But I really wish you would ask your doctor. Some children have a rare reaction to pain medications. (See Reye's Syndrome) Check to see is she maybe prone to this reaction.
Also check out the site below on more information for dosaging for children and tylenol.

The doseage is on the back of the bottle of Tylenol. I asked my sons' pediatrician this. I was concerned because even though my boys were always large, they were still young. She said age has nothing to do with it...it's all based on weight.

Consult your pediatrician!!! Do not give too much since Tylenol can damage the liver. I am not a doctor or nurse by the way.

if you call a pharmacist they can tell you exactly how much and you can trust their answer. My daughter is 17 lbs and i was told to give her 1 teaspoonful every 4-6 hours.

Read the chart. If you are still not sure, call a pharmacist, nurse at a dr. office, health centre, or even hospital.

I don't quite remember, but ask your pediatrician he/she usually has a chart printed with the dosages on it.
