A lot of people make mistakes in their lives. He is no different than anybody else. He was just out having a good time and made the wrong decision and got caught. The only reason it made big time news is because of his stardom. So yes, I would still watch his movies past, present, and future. My mind is that open on the subject.

Mel is an American, he said nothing bad about America. He just asked the police officer a question. He has freedom of speech in our country. His alcholism is the only thing in question. But then again, we watch movies of people who are one drugs also.

sure why not. it's not like Mel Gibson is the only "criminal" actor. look how many other actors have been arrested. i don't care about actors personal life, just do your job, make good movies.

The man is an alcoholic and needs help. If he get the therapy he needs to quit drinking, good for him. The rest is none of my business.

yes. if i shunned him for making a mistake then i would have to for my brother, cousin, and two friends. he was just caught when as most people are not. how many of us have had a couple to drink and then drove home. of course i didn't pay attention to what his blood alcohol level was. maybe he had more then a couple. in which cases he shouldn't have been driving, put he is paying for the mistake just like my brother and cousin did.
