Visit Rhode Island, and stay in Providence. Enjoy a Venetian gondola ride along the waterfront or an evening's Waterfire celebration. Take a walk along Benefit Street with it's dozens of historic houses for a step back into history. Sit by the bay and eat a fresh caught lobster. Visit Newport...the mansions and the beaches. http://www.newportfestivals.com/
There's always a festival happening

and since the state is so small, nothing is far away. Shop for hotel discounts on
http://priceline.com. Put in 3 stars and name your price of $65. I have gotten amazing deals that way. If nothing's available, fo up to $70. I stayed in a huge suite in the Biltmore for $65.
Have a wonderful time!

the closest Southern California wine usa i will think of of is Temecula. Malibu has some relatively astonishing and extremely conventional wineries. The Crystal Pier inn in San Diego (Pacific sea coast) is handy to nightlife. it is not relatively a inn, yet a pair of dozen cabins equipped on precise of the pier. you could hear the sea all night long. Encinitas is a exciting place to circulate to. they have a historic downtown and a lot of bars to appreciate. Northern San Diego County has quite a few funky cities that are off the radar of maximum la citizens. look into Cardiff-via-the-Sea, Leucadia and Olivenhain for amazing hotel's and B&B's. Santa Barbara is artsy, romantic, has nightlife and is easy to get to. Ojai has a stunning downtown and is incredibly artsy.
