i think she is a good role model because she is beautiful and she proves to young girls that you dont have to be stick skinny to be pretty

i think she is cause she doesn't jump in the hollywood band wagon to go stick hin and is proud of her curves and body and i think that is a good possitive thing to be teaching young teens/kids! xD

I have a a pre-teen daughter who has a weight problem. Although she is blond and blue-eyed, she reminds me of Raven in a lot of ways. I do find Raven to be a bit annoying at times, but my daughter really likes her and I completely agree that it is refreshing to have a teenage role model who doesn't look like a concentration camp victim.
Besides, I think that our children should see positive images of people who look and act in many different ways. Individuality should be valued, not looked down upon.
Just for the record, my daughter also likes some of the other young actors on TV (Hillary Duff, Amanda Bynes, Tia & Tamara Lowry, etc.), and she doesn't seem concerned (yet) about how they differ from her and each other, but simply that they are "funny" or "good actors". This is how I want her to view the world and hope it helps her through any rough times she'll be facing as a teenager.

she is a really good role model, one of the best! She thinks that everyone is beautiful no matter size, color, physical appearance, etc. Raven takes part in many charitable organizations. I think she sings for them, and she acts pretty well. She's part of Disney Channel, a really good company that helps children worldwide.

Yes, she seems like a very nice girl. During an interview, Raven always presents herself as an articulate, well mannered, young woman. She's also very healthy and curvy, unlike that skank Paris Hilton!

I think she is a good role model. There is finally a actress who isn't stick thin. She can sing, dance, act, and do comedy. Who wouldn't look up to that?

Sort of. She hasn't done anything all that great besides the Cosby show. SHe's just another disney person. How come every person who has their own show on the disney channel can "sing"? I don't get that.

i agree with u...she's not the usual 'look im skinny, so im hot' actress...she's a great role model because she shows that you can have weight, be healthy, and look good too....she's a good actress and singer, too
