I'm starting college in Languages department. What if I want to go towards working in foreign relations, what should I take in University?

History, political science and a second language. Check if your school has a "Strategic and Military Studies" program or something similar.

Economics.
History.
Political Science.
Statistics.
Speech.

Obtain fluency in at least two foreign languages.

It is also helpful to have a science background since that will allow you to have liaisons outside of government (for instance, to work for a commodity company or a supplier).

I'd say political science. Also, history courses in the region/regions or countries you are interested in specializing in. Economy (macro, micro, international trade relations etc.) is good, especially if you want to branch out into work in development organizations.
