I have a choice of candy bars, which are satisfying, or fruit snacks, which are fortified with vitamins? Or should I just wait till dinner?

There is no fruit in the vending machine, and even if there was, somehow, I don't think I'm that desperate.

First of all, go get a huge glass of water and drink it down all at once, without stopping. Wait 10 minutes and then if you are still hungry, go for the fruit. Fruit SNACKS are just that, snacks, still processed and full of calories and artificial sweetners. Instead, bring your snack with you from home, like a REAL apple and some cheese, or a bannana and one teaspoon of peanut butter to dip it in, try it, it is sooo good. And good for you. Snacking can get you in trouble if you overdo it, but getting ravenous during the day can also, because when you get home you will eat everything in site and then overeat at supper time.

Try water first. You might be able to fool your stomach into thinking you aren't hungry.

I'd try to stay away from the candy or even the fruit snacks...their just chock full of sugar and the energy boost doesn't last long.

Try an apple or another piece of fruit if you are looking for something sweet...the fruit has natural sugars, yes, but you'll get more nutrional value out of it. Or try some carrot sticks and peanut butter or even a banana.

The fruit snacks are not going to fill you up until dinner. Go with one of the candy bars!

you should try not to eat in-betweenmeals. they add to your weight unless you work it off. if you are a bum who does nothing all day, don't eat anything, wait for dinner, then eat healthy. if you ework out and are active, mabey go with the fruit snacks. DO NOT SNACK ON CANDY BARS!!!! once in a while is okay, but to snack on them will make you a fat pig.

Fruit snacks w/ vitamins might be a bit better.
You should compare the nutrition labels.

Or, if dinner is close enough that you can wait, just wait.

There's nothing in candy except sugar. You need fruits, veggies and grains to stay healthy. Blueberries are very healthy and you could put some in a smoothie. yummy! :) And you can get some of those nutritional grain bars with fruit and nuts in them.
