Well if meant i love you as i want to be with you forever then you have to think about your answer or if you really love them if they meant it as you such a great friend i love you then of course you should say it back but be positive that you know how they mean it you wouldnt want to say it and have them think you want to be with them foreva and you just want to be friends

did they mean I LOVE YOU LOVE YOU or just like I love you.? Like was it like they were telling you that they wanted to be with you in a relationship or was it just a Thank you so much i love you? In the last option you just say i love you too. The first option, its up to you.

Tell her you love her she is your best friend. me and my best friends tell each other we love you all the time. best friends are there for you through everything you should love them and tell them that so they know you appreciate them ect.
