6 miles away from the Pentagon. I flew into Dulles the night before and was at a clients office. I flew on the 2nd flight out of Dulles on 14 Sept. Nobody said a word on that flight and when we landed there was a huge applause.

I was grocery shopping, when the first plane struck, I felt such a sudden flow of sadness thinking of those poor people & their families, that has never gone away. I have relatives, who worked there, the both of them were on vacation when this happened.

I was in the Army at Ft. Campbell, and was in the chow hall where they had it on t.v. Most soldiers didn't think much of it and noone really talked about it much. Weird huh?

Sitting in my law school contracts class...didn't find out about it until the dean came into our Torts class and told us classes were cancelled and to go home and find out about our families (we were in NY).

getting ready to go to school i was in third grade then and thats all we talked about that day! ={ my connections teacher brought in a video of it and let us stay in longer watching it so we could cry if we needed to. my bff birthday is that day and i dont think nebody ate to much cake that nite! it was very depressing!
