Anything by Jeremy Clarkson. Very dry humour. Try the World according to Clarkson.

And I am sorry, but Angels and Demons was such a let down, Awesome Start and build up but such a bad ending. Sorry!

Oh, Dean Koontz is really good. Edge of the seat stuff!

King Fortis the Brave is perfect for holiday reading. About a pair of twins that are brought to a magical realm where they find themselves caught in a battle for control of the land. It's full of humor and action that you will love.

Some books I would recommend are
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
Dune by Frank Herbert
The Dante Club by I can't remember

Ender's Game and Dune are sci-fi
Dante Club is a mystery set in the 1800s or so

A nice light book to read on vacation would be "The Devil Wears Prada"--it doesn't get you as "involved" as others do. Otherwise, check out "Wicked" and other books by Gregory McGuire. Very fun and interesting!
