I don't really know anyone that has owned one and I wanted to know if they are decent

I have a used Samsung (a person that my grandmother works with let me have it when she got her new phone) and I have absolutely no problems with it. It has never broken and the battery still works well. It is probably at least a year old... maybe older.

Samsung phones are very good. They last for a long time and does not break easily. THe menu system is very simplistic and easy to use. I do not think you will ever regret buying it.

I've had motorola phones and am very unhappy with them. Most of my friends have Samsungs and did not have any problems.

I've had excellent luck with samsung phones. motorola's just simply don't like me at all, LG's doen't work well for me either.
Have had good luck with Sanyo's as well.

I had one for a while and had no problem with it.
They aren't the best and they aren't the worst.
