me and my fiance have been trying to concieve for the past month. the first time we were unsuccessful. but this time i calculated my ovulation and we had sex during the week i wuz suppose to be ovulating. now approx. 12 days later im bleeding but its a week and a half early for my period and im always regular. its really light bleeding (hardly needed a panty liner), light pink in color...only for half of one day wuz it bright red then the last day it wuz light brown. it last for about 3-4 days with light cramping on the first day. but it wuznt like my periods usually be...no blood blobs...nothing. and it wuz mingled in with mucus (vaginal yeast?). before i wuz bleeding my nipples were very sensitive for like a week which has never happened before. so im (we) are kinda excited but we dont want to get our hopes up and then be disappointed. what do you think? and if it wuz an implantation bleed, what would be the best time to take a pregnancy test?

You ovulate 12-16 days BEFORE your period starts so if you ovulated and started bleeding 12 days later then it's your period. However, it is very possible that you didn't ovulate when you think you did. You should use basal body temping to determine when ovulation occurs (www.fertilityfriend.com) Don't go by the ovulation calanders or the method of ovulation occurs 14 days after period starts--both methods are unreliable. Implantatin spotting is light pink and only lasts a short while-an hour or so. Also, I wanted to add, cervical mucus is normal and healthy. It's actually critical for conception to occur. As long as it isn't foul smelling or itchy then it isn't yeast or any other infection. The best time to test for pregnancy is using first morning urine after your period is late.

when you have "brownish" colored blood I would say YES IT IS PLANTATION bleeding. Specially if it wasn't a normal flow. I would say test 14-16 days after you ovulated. Or when you think you may have missed your period. It does sound like you are prego. Goodluck.
ALSO the light cramping could be the inplanting. a good website for all types of baby info and is FREE is..

you very well could be pregnant....to figure out when to take the test you count the first day of your last period as day 1 then count forward 28 days this should be when you start your next period, you can take the test then....always count from the first day of your last period not the last day.....good luck
