Have you ever had a dream that you were trying to hide from bad people and they found you, put a gun to your chest, and pulled the trigger? Did you feel the pain of it entering your heart? did you feel yourself die?
I did, how is that possible to feel it? And why did it happen?

Well I had a dream I got shot in the head...I didn't feel the pain. I got up afterwards and kept going. Then I kept getting shot at but

I think time happens differently in your dreams. So when you were shot in your chest, you may have been developing a cramp in your chest and then your mind conjured the dream. I have thought long and hard about this because I often have awakened "feeling" my dream. I've never been shot in a dream, but I've been stabbed in my right thigh in a dream many times. I think I must have hit myself or had a muscle spasm. Or maybe my mind tricked my nerves into receiving a false message. The mind is incredible! One way to always awake from bad dreams is to begin to breath really hard and fast. It's been a while since I've had to try that one.

I had a dream I was in a war and got shot. I could feel the heat from the bullet and the blood running everywhere. I was also a dude in the dream so that was freakish in itself.

Wish I knew what caused it because I haven't been shot and to my knowledge I have never been a boy.

I had the same thing happen, the same type of experience. It is possible to "feel" the pain because your mind has an idea, whether accurate or not, of what it might feel like.

I have to tell you, I was pretty freaked out when it happened, though. I woke up right away and had trouble sleeping for days after that. I am glad is wasn't a recurring dream; I hope yours isn't either.
