Six years ago, Israel pulled out of Lebanon because the UN said that they would take over the border patrol and make sure that Hezbollah would no longer fire Ketyusha rockets into Israel. Of course, the UN (Useless Nations) failed, and one really must wonder if they even tried.

A short while after Israel pulled out of Lebanon
-- Israel was patrolling the border before the UN "took over"-- Hezbollah kidnapped three Israeli soldiers in order to do a prisoner swap; the three soldiers for a bunch of terrorists that had been arrested inside Israel's borders and were now in jail in Israeli prisons.

What Hezbollah got back from Israel was about 40 wanted terrorists. What Israel got back were three desecrated bodies.

Hezbollah continued to fire Ketyushas into Israel, the UN continued to do nothing. Finally about five weeks ago, Hezbollah snuck into Israel -- under the watchful eye of the UN -- and kidnapped two more Israeli soldiers.

Israel is not fighting Lebanon, and will most likely aid financially in the rebuilding of Lebanon once they have routed Hezbollah.

Hezbollah, like all terrorists, hide themselves amongst the civilian population. They do this because when someone goes to fight the terrorists, whether it be Hezbollah, Hama, Islamic Jihad, Fatah or Al Qaida, then innocent civilians are killed, and then those terrorists start jumping up and down in front of CNN about how bad everyone else is for killing civilians -- which if you think about it, if these terrorist organizations were actuall "fighting for the good of their people," they would not hide behind them, trying to bring about as many casulties as possible.

This is specifically why Al Qaida didn't rent planes to attack America; they hijacked airplanes full of innocent civilians, to bring about as many casulties as possible.

Don't put too much stock in what "Human Rights Watch" has to say. I was in Jenin during the Jenin crisis when HRW verified that there were 5000 dead Palestinians. When the Red Cross got there, they were expecting to find 5000 dead Palestinians. Instead they found 12 -- all of them wanted terrorists.

You have to remember that these winners at Hezbollah WANT lots of dead civilians. It enrages the world -- and rightly so -- but that enragement serves to mask the fact that those civilians are dead because Hezbollah used them to hide behind.

This all started about 50 years ago, but the latest round is because Israel reacted wildly over 2 people getting kidnapped, and attacked Lebanon's airport and bombed innocent civilians in many places in the south part of Lebanon (which is due north of Israel).

Israel says it is trying to hit Hezbollah terrorists, but Human Rights Watch just issued its report, which says that Israel is deliberately aiming at the poor innocent civilians. In any case, lots and lots of people are dying, the airport in Beirut is bombed out, and the whole country is in uproar.

I think Israel should have to pay for all the damage and compensate all the families AND stop using the word 'terrorists' as an excuse to go on bombing sprees.

Hezbollah is a terrorist group, backed by Iran which is dedicated to the annihilation of Israel. They are based in Lebanon and too strong for the Lebanese government to get rid of them. 2 Israeli soldiers were kidnapped by Hezbollah following a kidnapping in the Gaza Strip. Hezbollah had also been firing rockets into Israel for the last six months. Israel told Hezbollah to hand back the kidnapped soldiers and to stop firing the rockets or they would take action against Hezbollah. Hezbollah ignored Israel and continued to fire rockets at Israel. So Israel did what it had warned and attacked Hezbollah.

I have no idea that I'd cross really that some distance. At this factor, Israel has the identical correct to exist that the Palestinians do - not more, no much less. And as a lot correct as nearly all of the United States does. However, we must no longer be investment their profession, they usually must be compelled to follow the UN Resolutions that they are in violation of.
