DO they have the weapons to stay number 1 or who do you think will end up in that position?

They have the defense to do it, despite the losses at corner and linebacker, but I think they fall victim to that schedule at least once. I'm predicting another controversial year, with all of the current top five teams having one loss.

I love all you homers that think Texas is going to be a cake walk. We may have a freshman QB, who was the #3 prep QB in the country last year, but we have one thing Ohio State will never have. That would be heat. Do you have any idea how hot it is in Austin in early September? That's still summer time. You boys can't handle our heat. You couldn't beat us in the shoe. You don't even smell us in Austin, with or without Vince Young.

ImaGman - January in Phoenix vs September in Austin. I'll take January in Phoenix. So will Ohio State. And if you're really from Houston, then you should know the difference between dry heat and humid heat!

They have weapons in places that they need them, but on defense they did lose all those line backers, yeah some say these guys are just as good as the ones who went to the nfl. This group of linebackers is lacking big game experience though, but there is way too much talent in the ncaa now, perhaps you have heard of the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. That will be your number 1 team this year.

2 huge games for the Bucks this year. The game at Texas and the game at Iowa. I'm not really worried about the Michigan game because it is in the shoe. Oh, and that reminds me, a joke:

Q: What kind of car does Jim Tressel own?

A: Lloyd.

It's possible. Texas won't be a threat, Penn St and Michigan will be hard. Then again if they stay undefeated they will get ravaged by Notre Dame. Notre Dame lost their sorry players and thats it. All there great players are returning plus more. Notre Dame is unstoppable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they have a very tough schedule this season and even though they have alot of weapons on the offensive side of the ball, i do not think they have the defense especially after losing all three linbackers this year. they mite end up one or two but they wont b undefeated

Penn State is loaded this year and should claim a National Championship for Joe. If he wins this year he'll retire I think.
