animals have no conscience...

2006-08-07 07:52:01 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 1

Animals kill for food and so do we. Most animals do not kill each other and will only do so if is life over death.....we will do the same....we are just like the rest of the animals. Some animals will kill each other for a purpose like position in life....people will do the same. Man has created laws to follow and has never applied them to animals...we are the one who detirmine if it is right or wrong....but what we detirmine to be right or wrong may not be correct all the time.....the reason it is wrong is that we are taught to feel that way.

Basically, animals kill one another for two (2) reasons:
1: Food
2: Survival
Animals do not kill just to be killing. People kill for some of the same reasons that animals kill, but people have the ability to reason which enables them to feel. Once a human being begins to kill and enjoys it they develop a feeling of euphoria that allows them to kill with impunity. Animals do not kill for effect; only for a reason.

Well...animals typically kill each other in the wild for food, and humans do kill other things for food. Most times animals aren't killing things of their own species too, and it is perfectly okay for humans to kill creatures of another species. That's not to say that animals don't kill other animals of their own species, but they don't have a government saying that they can't.

Keep in mind that it is still in human nature to kill, but those instincts are sort of overridden by morals that they learn mostly from their religion, which animals don't have.

Animals cannot understand or recognize the rights of others, which is why they cannot have rights. They are animals.

People are commanded by God not to murder each other, however, killing in self defense or to defend our families or our nation is not forbidden.

Evolution teaches that the strong devour the weak, so if you believe in that, you understand why Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and others murdered millions during the last century.

It's all about the meaning of "civilized."

Animals kill for food. Although we also kill animals for food, we have the luxury and convenience of shopping for it in our neighborhood supermarket.

Except for a possible small fringe of cannibals, humans do not kill their own species for sustenance. However, they do kill for a variety of other reasons, usually not embraced by the rest of the animal world.

Other than food sources, animals may only kill for reasons of self-defense, defense of their young, or protection against threats to their habitats.

because of man-made laws, we set ourselves at a higher level than animals. ok after that isn't it awesome that it's an animal trait that you can't remove from man no matter how many laws we make against it. it's a natural instinct to kill something smaller/weaker that you. humans and animals kill for most of the same reasons.

Because animals kill for a need - namely eating. People kill for hate. Not a good enough reason in my opinion.

Animals have no conscience, or it's the only way they can get food. They can't just go to McDonalds and get a big mac.
lol.

I think it is understood that animals act that way because they live off of instinct rather than rational thought. People have judgement to make decisions rather than act on their instinct.
