I wanted to get a tattoo on my lower back close to my butt, I'm just not sure what exactly to get. Any suggustions??

Get your tattoo there if you want to! I've had a tat on my lower back for almost 10 years now. The only time people will call it a tramp stamp is if you carry yourself like a tramp. So, don't let anyone else discourage you. Mines is a scorpion, my zodiac sign. I also thing tribal tattoos look good there.
Oh yeah... I do have to let you know.... it HURTS!!!!! Its right there on the bone. Its definitely not a walk in the park. Take a friend with you, so you can hold their hand. But, warn them that you may squeeze it so hard, their fingers will turn blue. LOL.

Ick... those are called "Tramp Stamps". They look so trashy when you can see them when bending over. I'd say try another location with something feminine and personal.
**Okay, since you emailed me calling me out on the label there are worse things that I could have said:
1. Put an arrow pointing down saying, "Exit Only"
2. Have a map of Hawaii inked in without a few islands giving a guy a fill in the blank photo.
3. Get a clue... I'm not the only one who thinks this way and I'm not labeling you for what kind of tattoo you're choosing.

First how old are you? Don't get one as soon as you are legal. I researched online for a year to find anything I liked better. Go to local shops and look at their flash art on the walls. Tribal is so cliche, you should get something different. No black zig zags, skulls, roses or hearts. Kanji (oriental) writing of your name or motto is good. I have kanji on my back and the Duke basketball logo above my butt because I've been a diehard Dookie for 14 years.
I got my first tat 7 years ago and never heard of "tramp stamp". That is so rude. The only people that probably say that are the ones that are too big of a pu**y to get one theirself. FYI, though flabber the tailbone hurt more than mid back.

Personally I could move to your chest proper above your boob in which your middle is. That manner it is protected for paintings and it's in a well individual situation. Lower again isn't a well placement for that tattoo. Honestly if I had been to get a tattoo in reminiscence of anyone else it would not be approximately me, it could be anything approximately the character who passed on to the great beyond. Something that was once their favourite or anything that reminds you of him however you will have to not ever get your possess identify tattooed on you, it simply appears dull like you're into your self. Don't get anything cliche. Get something that means something. Maybe something you stand for or believe in. If you travel a lot, you could get Nordic compass or something, that is a nice clever and original idea. Don't get tribal, zodiac, or anything of that sort. And maybe not lower back? It's known as the Tramp Stamp. Maybe somewhere on your back ribs or love handles or tummy. Not lower back.

I personally don't like tattoos on the lower back because EVERYONE has those. I'm a fan of originality. BUT for sake of answering the question. How about 4 lotus flowres going across. One yellow, one red, one orange and one pink. Pretty and sexy.

i wanted to get one too but a friend of mine who got one told me i should get one somewheres else first cuz when a tattoo goes on a part of the body where there's mostly just bone below it really hurts. so i got one, a little butterfly just inside my bikini line on my lower tummy and wow did it hurt a lot. if one on the back hurt more and was bigger i mighta chickened out while they was doing it so maybe you should have one done somewhere's else first too just to get an idea.

Depends on what you like- whatever you choose should have some meaning to you because it's a pretty permanent thing.
