There is an attraction to the "take me against my will" fantasy, but it is only with those who are trusted. Actual rape itself is not desirable, fun or pleasurable to any woman by any stretch of the imagination. The difference is in the play aspect vs the real thing. Fantasy and reality are seldom the same.

From what I know and have heard about some women who do rape role playing is because they try to overcome the fact that they have been raped.
They do it to overcome certain fears they have about sex and address what things about the rape triggers this for them.
Therapy or counselling has not helped or they wish to do this in conjuction with their therapy or counselling. Some women who roleplay rape due to being rape victims find this theraputic and helpful.
Because of the roleplaying, they feel in control of the situation and the roleplaying allows for certain end results that some women feel very comfortable with. It allows them some empowerment.
This is not to say that all women who are raped allow for roleplayed rape. This is only for some women. Not ALL.
Every woman handles rape differently whether it's because they have been raped or have the fear of being raped.
And certain fantasies allow them to take the power back especially when the "rapist" is not caught or gets away or because the women are dealing with self-blame.
Hope this is helpful.

Rape fantasies are quite common. There is a big difference between being actually raped and playing out a rape fantasy though. Those who are raped have NO consent in the act, they are dehumanized, and traumatized. Those who enact rape fantasies do have control over the event, because they stage it. It may seem like they're similar, but they're not.

Rape is not a sex crime! It is however a control issue. The rapist is aroused by the struggle and making the victim submit to their demands. In sexual relations it is the ability to trust and give up control to the person in the fantasy.

I don't understand that either--I can't imagine that woman that has truly been raped would ever play that kind of game

THAT TYPE OF RAPE scenario is a "controlled environment" where they know they are SAFE. THEY KNOW they are role-playing and that its their boyfriend, husband and that its "out of their control" while still being "SAFE." They are STILL WITH SOMEONE WHO LOVES Them!!!
