I like college b/c of the atmosphere and the "student-athletes"(which really only applies to a few schools-Notre Dame in particular)
I just don't like the overpaid NFL players.
what's your opinion?

GO IRISH

NCAA. Though I enjoy the NFL, there's something I truly enjoy about the atmosphere of NCAA games, the lower ticket prices, the constantly changing landscape of the game and though the players make more mistakes than the pros, you EXPECT them to be made in college, not in the pros. Granted pros are human too, but I have seen some very sloppy pro football over the last couple seasons and it kills me to see men supposedly at the top of their profession making the same kinds of mistakes they made in college. Therefore, give me a BIG ORANGE HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!! Go Vols!!!!!!!!!

NCAA is better. No argument about it. The NCAA has the best coach and the most exciting team: Notre Dame. Wouldn't you love to see Notre Dame win the National Championship and then run over the Patriots in the Super Bowl? In professional football, no one seems to take a real hit anymore, plus you have to worry about steroids and all these other drug problems. When you have a team that wins all the national championships and produces all the great Heisman winners, why settle for anything else? Notre Dame is going all the way !!!!!!!!!

Agree NCAA is much better vs pro. College athletes are playing the sport for the love of the gain to obtain goals. They aren't paid or big headed. NFL are just in it for the money and don't care about there season. NFL athletes look much slower and boring, lol. Go Tarheels ;)

I'll give you an outsider's perspective as a Canadian. Never got into college football at all. I just did not get the whole sis-boom-ba, option play and basically lower level of football. I mean, you have coaches who fail at the NFL level badly (Spurrier, Erickson, Carroll) who are considered GREAT college coaches. (To us you fail at the NHL hockey level and succeed at junior...well, fine but we don't glorify you.)

I always liked the NFL better as the players were better and the teams looked cooler.

Maybe if I was born in the U.S. and went to college there, I'd get it but for us college sports are just someting you do not something you watch. I wish I could get into it but every time I try to watch Notre Dame or USC or any team, I just go...this looks like minor league football. I like the crowds and bands but the actual football for me is not interesting as a Chiefs-Raiders or Cowboys-Skins game.

I have always enjoyed the NFL more, but have enjoyed the NCAA. My only problem with the NCAA is that it's champion is not really determined on the field. This is absurd.
