I read this.. and thought wow has no one else heard of the quarter trick.. you take a quarter and rub over the hickey.. you have to rub hard and it does truly hurt but when your done you can barely see the bruise... i used to do this cause mom would have killed me with a hickey.. and i had really short hair..

Foundation (Make-up) This would possibly sound fairly bizarre however my grandmother use to position a peeled potatoe (Slices) onto a bruise and he or she could like positioned it within a hankercheif and tie it round wherein ever the bruise used to be and it could draw the bruise out. She stated it could take a hickey away too intent a hickey is a bruise underneath the epidermis. I did take a look at it and it does paintings. I simply felt type of dumb running round with that tied to my neck. But i simply performed it to peer if that fairly works.

You can either cover them up or come up with a good cover story, but only icing them down in the first two hours will have any effect at reducing them.

Next time don't let him give you hickeys where they won't be covered by a bathing suit.

You don't.

Use cover up makeup on it until it is gone.

A hickey is a bruise. It is broken capillaries just under the skin. It isn't very sexy to have someone damage your skin this way so don't allow it in the future.

i've heard a cold spoon on it can help to take down some of the redness, but it doesn't really make it disappear. Make-up/coverup is your best bet. That and waiting it out.
Why did you get a hickey if you don't want anyone to see it?

Sorry Honey! There is nothing that you can do. All the methods that people tell you don't work, they are old wives tales. The only thing that works is time. It will take 1 week to a week and a half for it to go away.

Why do you think turtlenecks, scarves, and high collars have always been so successful? The Cave Men probably used tanned animal tails.

well...you could try an ice pack...don't know if it will work or not...but I think most will use the old stand by of cover it up with make up....or wear a turtle neck shirt..or a scarf to hide it...or just stay out of site....
