Im 5'9, is that tall enough? And I wear anything from an 8 1/2 - 9 1/2. And that guy would be the same height as me but even if he was shorter I dont think I would feel dominant... but I do prefer a guy thats taller than me, but its not important.

It depends on the guy's presence. I have met guys that are 5'9 but they are guys that have earned everybody's recpect - they are handsome, wealthy and hardworking. I work in the stock trading/investment business that's why I meet guys like this. Believe me, I won't mind dating them. I definitely will not feel more dominant.
Some guys are 5'9 are just don't have that sex appeal or masculinity. I won't date them cause I will feel more dominiant.
So honestly, it all depends on the guy's appeal.
For eg. If Mr. Big (Sex and the City) was 5'9, and I was taller than him, I will definitely not feel more dominant because he's so confident and has it going on.
I am 6 ft tall. I wear a shoe size 10 wide or 11.

i only dated men who were taller than me when i was single, and my husband is taller than me also---i'm a leo, so i feel dominant and powerful anyway, so 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. i'm the boss, but 5 p.m. to 9 a.m. after hubby gets home i LET him be the boss...
