Hi,

I am planning to visit Shirdi, Maharashtra, India. Looking at the weather conditions and heavy rainfall in most part of the state, I would like to know if it is the right time to go (12th -13th August) or should delay the visit? I would also like to know if Shirdi is affected with this or not. Better if people living near or recently visited Shirdi answer and give the correct details so that I can plan accordingly.

Thanks to everyone.

Intelliforex has answered your question very well. You should definitely delay your visit to Shirdi, as many area around Shirdi are flooded due to heavy rainfall. In fact many road leading to Shirdi are blocked due to floods & few areas are cut off. Military has been called to evacuate people to safer places in some area of Maharastra. Wait & watch for at least 15 - 20 days for the things to get normal & re-post your question again, in this category, sure a devotee of Saibaba will help you to fulfill your desired journey without obstacles. You know when you plan a trip to Shirdhi do not cancel it..yes this is NOT the best time but the flooding and the rain does not stop for the next 1.5 months or so..just go and what really counts is what happens inside baba's area..once you enter that place you will have no problem..i went twice when it was hot and when it was raining and felt the same about it both times. And the best months are July,March and April I would say.

Go and good luck to you. Go see Baba!
