So far I have cut out letters that spell out my name in gold glitter...I want more!! Any suggestions?

a lot depends on what you are allowed to use to stick stuff up. get a ton of the blue tack stuff (walmart) because most colleges allow it and you can put up posters and pictures of friends etc. i recommend getting a sheet and tye dying it. you can find a creative way to hang it, either with some sticky stuff (if you glue paper or posterboard to the back of it, then you can use the blue stuff to tack it up) or you can suspend it from the ceiling if you have pipes or something, sounds crazy i know but believe me, with boring white walls, the colors from the tye dye really make the room more interesting and the cloth makes it cozy. if you hang it from the ceiling, then you can put it by your bed for added privacy. hope that helps.
*just remember, what you put up, has to come down if you move to another room the following year. also it might be best to hold off decorating for a couple of weeks, if you have a roommate and don't get along (even if you are best friends now, living together is a different situation-i've watched it break up a lot of friendships) then you don't want to have to take the time to pull all of the stuff down just to move down the hall.

For college? I think the gold glittered letters might be a little on the junior high side. I would hate for you to be teased by others. Be sure to check with your college's restrictions on hanging things on walls etc, before you make any major decisions.

For my room, I used an outstanding style of those sticky hooks and tabs to dangle issues, those you need to stretch to get off. those artwork tremendous. and that i placed up some Ikea wall stickers. we've the bambo ones in our room yet there are quite a few others that are cool too.

Surfer Gal theme! Get a blow-up lifesaver, pictures of hot guys, starfish, shells, a bottle you could use for messages (things to do that day), ect. Have fun!
Oh, and tiki poles! Don't light them inside though. They are awesome.

I bought and mounted a corkboard and slowly filled it with a collage of pictures. By the time I moved out they had spilled over the edges, but it was very cool.

i think you should just do a collage of pictures with ppl that you care about n of course you...n that should b cute....you can like put some high school memories up there and stuff like that..
