Sin is NOT acceptable. May be forgiven and Rape is a whole another story. Any man who has to rape has got to be sick. There are so many ladies out there that will help a guy out with out him having to rape some one. If he sick or not sick, he needs to be dealt with in the hardest punishment the law allows. He not only hurts the victim but the families of the victim.THAT is a sin, but one that even I would not forgive.

What...? Look there's a difference in the varying degrees of sin. There's those that hurt others and those that don't.
Jeez, your questions are getting annoying. Not every word in the sentence is a proper nound, lady.
Okay, I would agree that rape is unacceptable. There are a lot of things that you find unacceptable that I would also agree with.
You can't have a blanket statement like that.
SIN IS ACCEPTABLE. RAPE ON!
Stupid. Just plain stupid. I can't see how you can't see how ridiculous that sounds. For some reason, I imagine you getting angry and not considering my argument in the least, dismissing it, and moving on to someone who agrees with you.
I highly doubt you read any of the arguments against you -- and I base this soley on that fact that you have such concrete clauses as SIN IS ACCEPTABLE. Sin is relative. There are different kinds of sin. Some are absurdly wrong, such as rape. Some are less definite, such as, say, stealing a few dollars money from a rich person to buy food after that rich person has continuously rejected your begging and spit on you, and over the hours, you become hungrier and hungrier, and no one else is around but that one old man. So you take his money secretly. Would you feel bad? Sure. Should it be acceptable in society? Probably not. Should he go to hell? I doubt it.

Sin is never acceptable, under any circumstances whatsoever. If a rapist enjoyed what he/she did and has no remorse for it and would do it all over again if given the chance, then hell is the answer for what the consequences are. On the other hand, if the rapist repents of the deed, is sorry for it and would go back and undo it if possible, if he/she would never do it again and has asked God for forgiveness, then He will certainly forgive them and wash the sin away. In that case there are no "consequences" in the sense of punishment. . . that's part of what it means to be forgiven. But the person may have to live with the knowledge (and the pain of the knowledge) that they caused pain to another human being.

Rape is horrible and a crime! You go to prison. A crime is a crime. That's why laws are made for such behaviors. Sins are not acceptable. No one is perfect and we all make mistakes, but this doesn't mean that you should not or will not face the consequences.

Sin is not acceptable. It is common amongst human beings, though. We are susceptible to sin on earth, which is why you and I are lucky to have such a forgiving God! You and I only have to pray to God for forgiveness, with sincerity, to receive cleansing and forgiveness!
Aren't we lucky to have such an awesome God?
The consequences for rape are judged by the Lord. If you are convicted in court, the consequences are jail time. In life, the consequence for sin is death.
That is why you are I are so lucky to have a God that will keep us from submitting to sin. we just have to pray for Him to give us courage and the will to avoid sinful situations and the power to walk away from temptation. He will always give us a way out!
You and I, and everyone, are so lucky to have a God that loves us!

Sin is acceptable, but forgiveness is POSSIBLE, not automatic. Someone who commits rape must deal with the consequences of society (if they are caught)) as well as the consequences of God. They may be forgiven, but they have to repent in their heart of hearts, not mere lip service.

According to your profile, you should be smarter than to ask such a logically false question. You worked in the Court system--you know the consequences don't depend on definitions of "sin"---they depend on the system of laws. Rape is a CRIME, whether or not it is considered a SIN.

Sin isnt acceptable. The thing is that we all sin. Jesus died on the cross so that we could be forgiven though. You just cant sin though and go 'oh well, who cares, im forgiven, God doesnt care' because that is NOT true. To be forgiven you must first accept Christ into your life (which means you will want to do Gods will and try not to sin) and then repent and repent truely from your heart. Hopefully the person who sins, if its bad enough, will be punished while on earth still like jail. God always takes care of things though.
Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord.

The consequences are he or she (the rapist) is prosecuted under the human laws of our civil society and justice is dealt. Never mind all the religious stuff and the judging after death which may or may not happen. It's irrelevant.
