What is the extra 460 points for?
All universities love high SAT scores. Have they changed the scoring methods or are you a fake?

well i think that puts you in the 85 percentile which is good. especially since they've changed the total to 2400, and it includes a writing section. since i don't know the breakdown, i can't really see where you are strong and where you need work. schools look at those individual scores as well. i'm not too sure about a FULL scholarship, but a school should give you something. i'd say a good university would probably give you at least 1/3 tuition. but your grades and activities count for a lot too. schools want to see you've been involved in your school as well as taken challenging classes and taken those classes seriously aka done well. so the better everything else is, the better scholarship you'll get. you won't really know until you apply. also start checking locally for scholarships. rotary clubs and women's clubs, american legions, all those civic organizations give out tons of scholarships. see if you qualify for any of those, and most don't care about test scores.
congrats on the good score!

Things changed a lot since I took the SAT exam in 2000 because the maximum was 1600 (combined), which breaks down to 800 (Math) and 800 (Verbal). Nevertheless, in the state of Florida, you can receive Florida Academic Scholarship with at least a 1400 SAT and 3.500 GPA insomuch it will pay for your entire collegiate education at a state college or university.

You have a good shot if you have a great GPA and extra-curriculars. It depends on where you want to go and what their requirements are. If you are over their top 75% then you should get a scholarship. Private schools tend to give more scholarships than state schools, so apply to a lot and I wish you the best. You can get a great scholarship, just not to an amazing school (Harvard, Oberlin), but a decent school.

colleges dont really look at the writing section yet so hopefully your two highest scores are in english and math.. if u hav around a 1400 u will definatly get a lot of scolarship money at different places but a full scholarship is tough.. if u hav an extremely high gpa and are near the top of your class then it is a definate possibility.. if not u can still get a half scholarship or a lot of money at plenty of schools..

it really depends on your other activities and what you want to do. what college are you planning to go to? i know a person who got a lower score than you, but because he does some extracurriculars and was in a couple of competitions where he did good, and is on a school sports team, he's been sent some invitations from good colleges. i don't really know about scholarship though. but if you've kept up your grades that will cover a big part of it.
good luck!
