Absolutely, but I didn't like the made-for-tv movie of it. I thought that the story was engaging and provided a twist that few first-time readers would have predicted.

If you liked that, read "The Lottery of Babylon," by Jorge Luis Borges.

I liked it, but I wouldn't say I had a particular fondness for that particular story of hers.

I prefer "The Haunting of Hill House". It's generally creepier and more suspenseful.

Yes, I read that in college. A great social commentary on blind traditionalism. I wouldn't say I "loved" it, but it was chilling just the same.
