First Notre Dame had Tyrone Willingham who destroyed part of the Fighting Irish legacy in the eyes of millions. The Irish could not score and won all their games by defense. The recruiting was at an all time low. The suddenly an coaching genius appeared, Charlie Weis. Weis could not fix the entire the team in one season, especially with Tyrone's recruits, but he somehow turned their offense into the best offense in the nation. Teams they played last year might of been rated low at times, such as Tennesse. But keep in mind Tennesse finished with one of the top 10 defenses in the nation. The went from a team with a lossing season to a bcs bowl and finishing 9th in the nation (AP Polls). They also have the leading candidate for the heisman this year, and they have recruited one the best quarterback to come out of california since John Elway. I doubt the Irish will lose a game next year. The Irish are receiving better players every year with Clausen arriving they will be unstoppable!!!

Hell yes! I have been saying for the past 3 months that ND will win the next 5 NC. Quinn this year and Claussen for 4 more. There are going to be tough games along the road, but Charlie will win 'em anyway. Only way they don't win the NC is if the Defense isn't up to par.

Miami and Notre Dame are in the terrific shape out of the 5. Notre Dame had a real 5 recruiting classification final year and that they are selection a million precise now for this up coming season. they are going to be a potential returned in 2 years possibly even next year. Miami has a great team and Randy Shannon is going to be super for them as a coach.

First of all Charlie Weis has done something that's very hard for a coach to do, he came in and won with somebody's elses recruites. We all knew Weis was an offensive genius in the NFL, but who knew he could turn the Irish into a BCS bowl team. So yes i think with few years under his belt and starting to receive his recruits to play his style of football, Weis will only continue to improve the Irish. For now he has resurrected the Irish team, and given that magic back to it's fans, and it will only get better with coming years.

Face it. Notre Dame will never return to it's glory days. It will be a good football team year after year but will never be as good as they were before Tyron Willingham came. Anybody remember the days when every high school football player, Catholic or not, wanted to go to Notre Dame. That doesnt happen anymore.

Yes it appears they have returned, too bad they didn't let brother Ty finish what he started. A black man never gets a break.
