Your lawyer sounds incompetent. These workmen comp jerks need a strong attorney willing to fight their illegal and immoral tactics.

Seek another legal opinion. Let your attorney know what is happening is unacceptable and you must have some action immediately. You can request an immediate emergency hearing before a judge.

Don't use all caps. That is considered yelling and is rude.

Workmans comp is like social security, very hard to get. Having a lawyer is a good thing. It will take forever. It's like a test to make sure you really can't work, you are backed into a corner until you loose your house before they do anything. Sorry, it's a painfully flawed system and getting paid by workmans comp takes 40 hours/week of phonecalls, dr's appts and paperwork.

I've been through this. Nothing much you can do right now but wait for the hearing. At mine, I received a lifetime award. The company has to take care of my injury for the rest of my life! Keep calling your attorney to get that hearing! No such thing as being a pest when it's something this important. Remember--your attorney doesn't get any money until you get your award (whatever it is) so helping you as much as possible is helping himself!
