What's the best way to throw playing cards?

Question

I've heard about people who can throw cards so hard that they can slice through carrots and bananas. What is the best technique for throwing cards?

Please no stupid answers such as 'off a bridge...' I'm serious. And maybe someone with a real answer could reccomend a website.

flick, and let your wrist provide the power, not your arm. so when you flick it, just let your hand fly foward, and then let the momentum of your hand carry the card. put the card between your index and middle finger, and then let go when you think it will do the most damage. its kinda fun. ive sliced though a coulpa bananas, but never carrots. they're too hard.

I think you have mistaken playing cards with ninja stars. The only person I know who can slice through a carrot with a playing card is Chuck Norris. You be my guest and ask him if you want.

I don't throw my cards. The thought of picking up 52 cards just sounds like too much work!

Spin them flat.

If you want to cut carrots or bananas, you're going to need a deck made out of metal, with an edge sharpened.
