I'm 30 something and get from people you look the same or you look 25 but when I look in the mirror I see the years of sun damage and wrinkles. It's a hard reality when your at the beginning of the middle point of you life. I'm still younger than the girls at work but I can feel the aches and pains coming with my age.

When I turned 13 and became a teen ager, when I had my first girlfriend when I became a senior in high school, 18 - I am Legal, when I am 21 - I am totally older from here. when I drove by my high school and thought how old 21 year olds are to those kids, when I graduated from Penn State, When I turned 25, when I got married, when I became a father, when I first noticed that my body was not immortal, 30, I was not trusted any more, when I got a divorce, when pro ball players looked young, when I hit 40, when I finally figured out what women were thinking, when you realize that your head never changes only your attitude. The truth is that just about the time you can answer that question in total you are falling apart.

It didn't take a mirror to tell me I was older. A person has 8o years to live. The first 20 are the most carefree, cherish them.

28, I saw my Dad in myself when before it had been "all me." I liked what I saw. Earlier this year, I saw signs of aging and I didn't like it much. I always thought I wouldn't care. It just encouraged me to take even better care of myself. My sister calls a beauty routine "a beauty routine" up to age 32. After that, she says she calls it "beating back the ugly." I think this is hilarious and at age 35, I see just what she means!!

The day I discovered that I was getting old was the day I realized that I was afraid to fall down.
When you're young it never crosses your mind that "If I fall it could really hurt".
A mirror had nothing to do with it.
