Rich, smart and good looking guys offer more to the children that they will have with the woman.

Seriously though, there is someone for everyone. But everyone has certain needs/desires when seeking a mate. Knowing that you will be taken care of financially is a big one. Physical attraction is also important. Intelligence was my main concern when dating, because I feel that communication is primary to a good relationship, and if you can't talk to them on the same level, then no communication is happening.
I never faulted someone for passing me by because I was too fat, or didn't make enough money. The right one found me, and we're perfectly happy together. We make about the same money, we have very comprable IQ's. (133/128) and we both struggle with weight issues, but love eachother anyway.
Would I have been stoked if a gal that looks like Kirsten Dunst, had the IQ of Stephen Hawkings and the bank account of Bill Gates walked up and proposed to me in college? Hell yeah, but the truth of the matter is, SHE would not have been happy with ME, because we would be unequally yoked.
I'm not saying you have to be the same in EVERY way (I'm in an inter-racial marriage.) But compatibility is important.
Don't give up, just be the best you you can be, and the right woman will come along.

I have never dated a guy with all three of those qualities. As a matter of fact, the love of my life is handsome and smart, but by no means rich. But everyone should be allowed their own preference without people judging them. But do not stereotype; not all girls love boys that are rich smart and good-looking.

For the same reason some boys only like girls who are smart, rich and good looking. They only look at the surface.

This is an interesting question, b/c my first reaction was DUH! because they're rich, smart, and good looking. And then I thought about it some more and here're my thoughts...
I like guys who are rich in talent, passion for life, creativity, and loyalty. I like guys who are smart, but that's a given. I mean there are tons of kinds of smart. I like a guy who will talk about the Daily Show with me and talk about world issues or books, but will also watch Family Guy with me and chill! And all of these previously stated qualities make the guy good-looking. I agree that the way the media puts emphasis on appearance makes it difficult for those of us who don't look like models to find someone, BUT it's not impossible. In fact I think that guys who are little less than gorgeous by society's standards are so much more fun to talk to and hang out because they don't rely on their looks like others. So if you're not smart, get smart. Find something you're interested in and learn about it, find a group to talk about it with and find women who are also interested. Next, be sure you're not just looking for a girl who is "good looking" by Hollywood's standards, she's bound to be shallow and only looking for the Ashton Kutcher's in the room. Be yourself, be honest, be true, and you'll find someone. Sorry this is an essay, I thought it was a good question.

Well I can't speak for the entire sex, I can say that I don't only like guys that are rich, smart, and good looking. Not all girls are that shallow. I'm not.

Because a rich man can support them while they do what they want all day, a smart man can have intellectual conversations with them, and all the whiel, if he's good looking, they can be physically attracted to them. Yes, it's a good package to find, but not every women cares about it.

I could say why do guys only love girls who are blonde, ditzy, good body, and flirty. It goes both ways but you cant just look at those people. Im a true romantic and am just waiting for the man God has for me. I dont look at things like money, being smart, or being good looking. Those are nice but its not what is important.

They don't. Smart and good looking don't matter nearly as much as rich does. I mean George W. Bush has a wife.
