what classes should i take if i want to be an astronomer?

get classes in physics, maths. Later, take quatum physics if you can. You might also need some basic telecommunications class. Could be usefull.

Also, you can already start to learn the constellations, and stargaze a lot.

You're going to have to take calculus and some level of physics depending on what brand of astronomy you want to specialize in. If you want to study planets, geology/geosciences would be good too.

Edit: Many astronomy majors go for a minor in physics. Planetary scientists generally go for a minor in geosciences. You might also think about transferring to a university that has a reputable astronomy program or that at least offers it as a degree program. Likely you would transfer to one of those universities anyway as a graduate student.

You will need to take physics courses and mathmatics. You will be lucky to find a course in basic astronomy, this is rare, but some universities offer a physiscs classes that are geared towards astronomy such as astrophysics.
