I'm not talking about Madden or NBA Live nor 2ksports. I'm talking anticipating the next Zelda, Mario, Sonic...etc.

And how does it feel going into a video game store and seeing kids old enough to be yours vying for the same game you are buying?

I am thirty and have all current systems including the 360. I get very worked up over games like that. It was a big part of growing up, kind of like cartoons. I discuss video games at work and home. Zelda and Mario are going to be big ones for me.

I honestly do not even think about other people let alone kids seeing me. I am mainly concerned with getting the game I want. Even the hot cashier girls(women), few that I have encountered, are really an issue. I buy and play for my own personal enjoyment. WARNING: Meaningful Statement Ahead. Video games can bridge a gap between older and younger players giving us something to talk that is not a heavy subject like sex or drugs. God that sounded old. That may have to be disregarded.

I would think the kids trying to buy those games would be jealous... because they usually have to get mom or dad to buy it for them... whereas the 30 something person can buy whatever they want without asking for permission or whining about it for weeks on end. What makes you think teens/kids are the only ones who can enjoy playing a video game. It is a good release/great way to relax after working a job all day... oh wait.... you probably don't do that yet... school is soooooo much harder than working an 8 or 12 hour shift.

i'm no longer 30 yet yet come on. What do you do for exciting? I mean it really is leisure. maximum video games now a days are not made for little ones besides. it incredibly is why they have an Ma 17 and up caution label on them. Why do not you get a existence and go away us sport enthusiasts on my own.

There is nothing wrong being older and playing video games, I'm 28 years old and i love playing games. When you grow up you realize that you still love toys. Being older i can just afford to get more expensive toys. I'm a kid at heart and there is nothing wrong with that, i plan on buying the new ps3 when it comes out, if i was 14 or 15 i couldn't get it because i couldn't afford it unless i begged my mom or dad, now that I'm older i can buy it and get as many games as i want so being older has it's advantages.

Err what? I see lots of kids buying Madden and all those sports games. Just because there are 30 year olds that appreciate great games and not yearly rehashed trash doesn't mean there's something wrong about that.
