I bet I have everyone on the age of the car.
1928 Ford Model A Roadster Pickup.
I found it abandoned in an orange grove near my house when I was 15. I rebuilt it from the ground up in Auto Shop at High School. Installed 1948 Mercury Flathead V8 and tranny. Chopped and channeled, painted fire engine red with yellow flames. Dropped front axle and chrome reverse rims. I took my drivers license test in this car.

1991 Mitsubishi Eclipse. It was black (Faded when I got it). The evening I bought it I had to drive it back an hour away from where I lived. By this time, it was getting dark and the right headlight wouldn't pop up (these had pop up headlights in the year) and the left one was pretty much a spot light to find birds in the tree. Driving this beast home was an adventure all in its own.
I ended up putting over $7,000 into this car. New paint, engine, transmission, etc. I put countless hours of my time into this bastard lol I had it for over 5 years now and it runs great.
My dad drives it to work daily. In the last year he has had only a few problems with it but he drives over 150 miles a day.
Funny thing about this is, when I drove it I had SO many problems with everything. He drives it and barely anything happens... I guess that's what happens when you think your a bad *** in your car hahaha.

mine was a ferrari red seat marbella, like this one:
http://www.autoplus.fr/horsserie/photo/INTM-6DMGWR/$file/seat-marbella-1.jpg
i bought it brand new out of a small insurance policy that my late great aunt had set up for me and that matured when i turned 18. i had been thinking long and hard about it, and finally decided for the new seat as opposed to a used vw because i thought new would mean less hassle and anyway, seat had just become part of the vw group then, so i thought whichever quality issues they had had in the past would have been resolved by then. well they so weren't... in the four years and 11 days i had the car (it found a premature end in the back of a turnip trailer), it went through three oil sumps, two heating systems, six sets of transmission gaskets and **** knows what else. it was not a good car... that said, i had fun with it, it raced like no tomorrow (for a car with a 850 ccm engine at any rate) and it brought me on some pretty cool trips. its name was red rocket.

1979 camaro berlinetta. All original 305, auto. Paid $250, drove it to my dads with the water pump blowing water everywhere on the way. Trailered it to my home, replaced the pump, did tune-up, and fluid changes. Threw some tires and wheels on it. made it through three years of high school with minor repairs. After graduation in 1994, finally repainted it, built and installed a mild 350, and replaced the worn interior. Drove it here to california without problems. Took it to Hot August Nights in Reno in 2003, then blew the transmission on the way home. Has sat since until I can get time and money to get her going again.Poor car.

A 1972 Ford Gran Torino, ordered in August of 1971. Didn't see a picture of the new body style, but decided to order the car anyway. The salesman gave a good description of what to expect. When the car arrived I was really pleased with the 'shark's' mouth grille style. It was great car.

93 Mazda B2200 found it in may of 94 after the model changed to the ford ranger look, It only had 1759 miles on it it wasnt the color I wanted but it was xactly what I was looking for. I wanted it to trick it out and lower it the xtra cab so I can fill it with speakers. I still have it but I never have finished it. Now its body dropped on 18"s custom 2x3 box frame with a 91 Mazda RX-7 rear independant suspension. I ended up buying an S10 to drive while the truck was getting worked on but that ended up getting custom mods too look up 4evrtucking on cardomain.com to see them

Mine was a '78 Thunderbird. It was three different colors and had four flat tires when my stepfather brought it home(he found it and I bought it for $350) It had a big block 351 CI Modified, and would exceed 145 MPH (according to the speeding ticket that was left in the glove box) But damn it was ugly!

Ah, yes, it was a '49 Chevy 2 dr.fastback. Had new upholstery and the only problem was a rod was knocking a little. Bought a new one at the parts store and fixed it myself. Rods in those days didn't have replaceable bearing inserts, so you had to buy the whole rod.
Total investment:
car-$35.
rod and gaskets- about $20.
Pretty good deal, EH?
