i'm currently working right now, i'm at an age of 16 but require to work at 18.
What i did was getting a work permit.
To get a work permit i had to fill out an application and bring social security card, birth certificuit, my report card and school id card. Then i went to a place where hey give you a work permit and they gave me a sheet of paper that enables me to work during how long/when
In 8 weeks i get 1,300 (8.82 per hour for a total of 160hours)

You can get a working permit through your school. Ask for one at your school office. Have your parents help you fill it out. Working permits protect you and the employer. Don't accept a job with any employer unless they ask for a work permit.
Good Luck and I admire your ambition! ;-)

.Go to your local High School Office. That's where I got mines way back when. Even if its summer the offices at any high school should be open. Just walk in ans ask for a work permit

Usually your school will have the permit in the office. Either that or ask your councelor...he or she will know how to get you a permit for getting a job.

I know as a young teenager you want spending money, but trust me you will have plenty of time to make money and spend it once you start working later in life. My daughter is 15 and ready to work but I tell her to concentrate on school and her grades and have fun while she still can. I offer this advice to you too. Once you start working, you will wish you could win the lottery! Good luck in school this upcoming year.
