Unpleasant odors are a sign of infection or STD. Is there a discharge involved? Different types of infections have different types of discharges.
I am assuming you know to keep yourself clean and that this is not from just needing a shower or a good scrub down.

I think that there are some very ignorant children on here. Yahoo should put up a kids question and answer site so the kids can have some where to play!!!!! You are not a stinky *** whore don't listen to those kids it could simply be a bladder, kidney or urinary tract infection or a mild yeast infection but you should get to the doctor ASAP because it could worse, hopefully it's something mild Good Luck. P.S. If you are having intercourse please protect yourself as this odor can be passed back and forth and yes men can receive and transmit yeast infections.

You could very well have a infection especially if you have this problem after showering, its not normal to smell that offensive down there, you need to go to a gyn and have this taken care of with antibiotics, dont neglect it vaginal infections could lead to infertility, also there is a tea that can help ladies from getting yeast infections, although Im not recommending it to anyone not all people respond to herbs in a good way, its called "pau d Arco" it taste horrible but its a home remedy, And I must say I have never had any bad odor or vaginal infections ever! But you need to go to a gynecologist to get treated.

That there is possibly an infection of some kind. Even a kidney infection can make your vaginal area smell, but more than likely either a yeast infection or STD.
Get a test done at the doctor's.

It means that it smells really bad, and its not pleasant. It can be easily cured though. A lot of women have this at times i think. Like guys get under arms
